vWF Activity Kit

The von Willebrand Factor Activity Test is an ELISA for the quantitative detection of vWF activity in citrated human plasma.  The assay utilizes a purified murine anti-vWF monoclonal antibody which recognizes a functional epitope on the vWF molecule to assess vWF activity levels.  Results are reported in percent (%) of normal, relative to a calibrator that has been standardized against the third International Standard for Factor VIII and von WIllebrand Factor in plasma.

Each abp von Willebrand Factor (vWF) Activity 96-microwell Test Kit contains the following:

• 12 x 8 stabilized antibody coated microwells (12 strips of 8 breakaway wells), with frame.  Wells are coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for the functional region of vWF.
• 60mL Sample Diluent
• 3 x 0.5mL lyophilized Reference Plasma for preparation of reference curve, with assay sheet.
• 12mL HRP conjugated anti-human vWF Antibody Solution
• 13mL Substrate (TMB/H₂O₂)
• 15mL Stopping Solution (0.36N sulfuric acid)
• 30mL Wash Concentrate [33X phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.01% Tween 20]
